As you saw on the front page, there’s a group of volunteers seeking to revamp the Isle of Hope Park (next to the pool) and make it safer and more accessible for all the island’s kids.

Plus, we’ve got artists, teachers and other locals lending a helping hand at the new school — and as you can see some budding artists learning all about creating ceramic tiles and the animals all around the Isle of Hope. (p.4)

Hope’s History – “The Fire”

You’ll also read an eloquently worded tribute to a group of people who faced an overwhelming setback as they watched their beloved and historic church building burn to the ground. But ultimately, they took solace in the fact that they, not the building, were “the Church.” This gave them the strength they needed to rebuild. (p.3 & 6)

Play Isle of Hope T Ball and Support the IOH Pool

Isle of Hope T BallNow I know it is a little cold outside, but you’ve got some great spring and summer activities to look forward to. T ball is not too far away and Ed Yannett has taken some time to explain what it is all about and how you can get involved. (p.10) Plus, summer is also on the horizon and the “pool people” are busy making plans for it to be the best year yet. Right now, they’re seeking business sponsors. If you have a business take a few minutes to get the details on how you can support such a pivotal part of the Isle of Hope community. (p.5)
