This all day meditation retreat with Teijo Munnich includes sitting and walking meditations, dharma talks and discussions.
Teijo Munnich is the founder of the Great Tree Zen Temple, near Asheville, NC. She is a Dharma Heir of Dainin Katagiri Roshi, her teacher from 1975 until his death in 1990. Her presence, polished by years of Zen study and practice, has been inspiring students in Savannah for more than a decade.
Preparation: Please bring your own lunch and snacks. Please also bring your own meditation cushion or bench if you have one. Blankets and blocks will be provided for those without their own cushion.
$30 registration fee plus Dana offering.
The retreat will take place at the Demere Center for Living at 6000 Business Center Drive, Savannah, GA 31405.
Participants will have the opportunity to give their offerings (Dana) in appreciation for Teijo’s teachings. She, like other dharma teachers, is supported by the gifts of her students. The registration fee will reserve your spot. All proceeds from the registration fees are donated to the Great Tree Zen Temple.
